We often get asked, “why stone veneer?” We’re in this business for a number of reasons:

First, often times natural stone is not affordable. Because it’s a scarce product, each stone has to be quarried, delivered, fitted and installed separately. Manufactured stone, or stone veneer, can be created, delivered and installed at a fraction of the price of natural stone, resulting in a tremendous savings for the customer.

We believe in our product and its quality so much that we offer a 30-year warranty on our manufactured stone. Our product is built to last, and look beautiful forever.

  Our stone is designed by local expert mill workers, most of which have been working with natural stone for decades. Handling and installing stone has given them an accurate picture of what stone should look and feel like.
• Extensive Research
  Our signature line of stone is well researched. Rather than offer any type of stone on earth, our stone is based on what’s available locally, to match the look of other homes that use natural stone. Lancaster, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas are a great source of inspiration for 200 year+ old homes. Our stone is very closely matched to that stone in texture, size, shape, color and method of installation.
• Customization
  Many of our molds are hand-crafted and custom designed so each piece looks different. Also, the color of our stone can be tinted to match existing natural or manufactured stone work on your home, or in the area. We don’t offer cookie-cutter stone veneer. Each project has its stone custom-manufactured to fit each corner of the installation.
• Installation
  The most critical part of the project from a durability and professional-looking standpoint is the installation. The Hess Group is the best installer of stone veneer in the area, and won’t rest until each detail, corner and edge of the product is perfectly installed.
