As you’ve probably read, Signature Stone manufactures warm, beautiful, elegant stone veneer. While we create the stone to look, feel and function exactly like natural stone, we’re able to manufacture and install it for usually a fraction of the cost of natural stone. Overview
We often get asked if it’s really possible to manufacture stone to look like natural stone. We always invite our clients to see for themselves how natural our stone looks. When designed and installed properly, it’s almost impossible to tell the difference. But we invite you to see for yourself.
Not all stone veneer is created equal. Part of what makes our product so much more beautiful and natural is our extensive research, and quality craftsmanship from the design phase. The stone we create is based on existing stone in the area. The colors, texture, size, shape and depth of the stone we create matches what you’d see on 200-year-old homes in the area. Because central Pennsylvania offers some of the most beautiful historic buildings as inspiration, by matching that look, we’re able to create a timeless look of lasting beauty.
Installation
Our sister company, The Hess Group, is the area’s leader in stone veneer installation. For nearly ten years, we’ve been working with natural and manufactured stone to become experts in the field. One of the most important keys to making stone veneer look like natural stone is the installation, and because we manufacture the product we sell, we are committed to installing it perfectly. 
The Hess Group installs Signature Stone’s product, and can also install natural stone and stone veneer from other manufacturers as well. We pride ourselves in being the best at what we do.
About The Process
As we mentioned, we work with everyone from single homeowners to the largest builders in the country, with a commitment to outstanding service. While we offer a superior product, we know we cannot be successful without a commitment to our clients.
We begin by assessing what our clients are looking for. If we’re working with a homeowner, contractor, builder or developer, we’ll look at blueprints or the actual home to determine the square-footage needed for the project. Then, we’ll invite our client to our showroom to see actual samples of our stone to select the type of stone needed. Our product is fully-customizable, so we’ll also inquire about colors to match, or existing stonework to match so our expert mill workers can create the perfect custom stone for the project.
Once we determine the style, amount and color of the stone, we provide a detailed bid or estimate outlining the costs of either the stone itself, the installation or both.
For homes, often our installations are completed in about a week, and you will quickly be enjoying the beauty of your elegant Signature Stone.
